

The land of Westeros is preparing to spread its wings as HBO Max celebrated the highly awaited third season opening of House of the Dragon with a spectacular one-night-only “Dragon Solstice” premiere event. The event was held in New York at the rooftop of Pier 17, in which the screening welcomed a 1,000 of devoted fans, creators, and tastemakers for an exciting exclusive look into the third season’s thrilling first episode. The event featured DJ sets from Mister Sunday and a performance from none other than Jacaerys Velaryon himself, Harry Collett (Casualty, Dolittle).
New York isn’t the only location that had en exclusive event, with others being Sydney with an underground tunnel tour, and Berlin having a giant dragon pyre ignited in Tempelhof’s central square. HBO”s Vice President of Originals Marketing, Mark Doumet, spoke about the series major impact:”House of the Dragon has always been powered by one of the most passionate fandoms in entertainment, and our Season 3 campaign was built to meet that passion at global scale.” He further added,“From pyro explosions to cast-led meditations, solstice celebrations to dragon vigils, and Pride sails to Targaryen ride sharing – we created new ways for fans to step ever deeper into Westeros.”






According to mxdwn, season three is expected to delve deeper and continue the civil conflict known as the dance of the dragons, in which House Targaryen is split into two factions fighting for the power and the iron throne.The series maintains the brutal intensity that the franchise is known for while carving out its own unique identity. The journey ahead is sure to be filled with shocking twists and unexpected betrayals that will leave audiences on the edge of their seats.
The Dragon Solstice event premiere was a giant celebration for fans who waited in anticipation for the next fiery chapter in the battle for the Iron Throne. The first episode of House of the Dragon’s third season is available to stream on HBO Max, with new weekly episodes released every Sunday.
