The Avatar Legends brand has released a video highlighting a new main character in Avatar: Seven Havens. The clip was released on Avatar Legends‘ TikTok.

The clip highlights Captain Karthik, an Airbender who will be voiced by Akshay Khanna. The character was previously seen in the official teaser trailer for the series. In the newly released clip, the character is referred to as “the Human Hurricane”, “the Warrior of the Wind”, and “the Master of the Tornado Fist”, and he is heard declaring his allegiance to a mysterious Council.

The character clearly has some mysteries to reveal; in a previously released trailer, he can also be heard pledging his allegiance to the mysterious Order of the White Lotus, a group that is an ally of the Avatar. It must be remembered that the Avatar in this time period is considered the “destroyer of humanity”, with Avatar Korra being held liable for a mysterious cataclysm which brought humanity to its knees. It looks like Captain Karthik has his own agenda, however, and may be a key ally to Avatar Pavi (Saheli Khan).

A week ago, Avatar Legends revealed the titles of the first three episodes of Book 1, which is subtitled “Survival”. The first three episodes are called “Chapter One: On the Horizon”, “Chapter Two: Into the Storm”, and “Chapter Three: The Order”. The remaining titles of Book 1 have since been released and can be found on Avatar Legends‘ Instagram page. Avatar: Seven Havens is set to premiere on Paramount+ in just a few days, with its premiere date being set for October 9.
