According to Deadline, Apple TV+’s Mythic Quest and its new spinoff series Side Quest finally get official premiere dates on the streamer, along with new first-look photos. After almost three years since the end of the third season, the fourth season of the hit comedy Mythic Quest is right around the corner. Apple TV+ has announced that the series will start on January 29 and air two episodes, followed by one new episode weekly on Wednesdays until March 26.
Along with the news of the fourth season, the series announced the debut of the series spinoff Side Quest. The series will premiere with four episodes on March 26, when Mythic Quest wraps its fourth season. In the fourth installment, the company faces new challenges in a changing video game landscape as stars rise, egos clash and relationships bloom.
Mythic Quest, created by Rob McElhenney (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Megan Ganz (Modern Family) and Charlie Day (Fist Fight), aired on Apple TV+ in 2020. The series follows a fictional video game studio that produced a popular MMORPG game with the same title.
The series cast includes McElhenney as Ian Grimm, Charlotte Nicdao (Please Like Me) as Poppy Li, Ashly Burch (Life Is Strange) as Rachel, Jessie Ennis (Life of the Party) as Jo, David Hornsby (Good Girls) as David Brittlesbee, Danny Pudi (Community) as Brad Bakshi and many others.

Side Quest gives more to the lives of the original series’ employees, players and fans. The series stars many of the cast of the original, including McElhenney, Anna Konkle (The Drop), Derek Waters (Drunk History), William Stanford Davis (Abbott Elementary), Bria Henderson (The Good Doctor), Rome Flynn (With Love), Leonard Robinson (Insecure), Gary Kraus (Barry), Annamarie Kasper (Good Trouble), Esai Morales (Bad Boys), Shalta Grant (NCIS) and many others.
