According to Comicbook, recently Apple TV+ has started to promote the return of one of their most anticipated series Invasion with the release of a brand new trailer for season two of the series. The series is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, August 23rd. Simon Kinberg (Logan, The Martian) will be returning to the series as showrunner.

According to Comicbook, season two of the series picks up months after the first season. The second season will show a higher escalation of the attack from the aliens during this all-out war against the humans. The trailer gives an insight into what is to come in the upcoming season of the series with its suspenseful sneak peek it shows aliens and their destruction as answers to why ar pursued through the fight for the survival of the world.
Invasion follows the struggles of surviving on an Earth that is visited by an alien species which threatens the very existence of the human race. It follows five different ordinary people across the planet as they attempt to make sense of all the chaos that has unfolded on the planet and them. The cast includes Golshifteh Farahani (Paterson), Shamier Anderson (Race), Shioli Katsuna (Deadpool 2), Billy Barratt (Responsible Child), Azhy Robertson (Marriage Story), Daisuke Tsuji (Letters from Iwo Jima), Firas Nassar (Between Heaven and Earth), and many others.
The series is produced by Apple TV+ by Boat Rocker with series creators Kinberg and David Weil (Solos), Audrey Chon (Poltergeist), David Witz (Shazam!), Alik Sakharov (Ozark), Andrew Baldwin (The Outsider), and Katie O’Connell Marsh (Slip) serving as executive producers.
Invasion will premiere on August 23rd and will include ten episodes, one airing every week on Wednesdays until its final episode on October 25th. Season one of the series is available to stream on Apple TV+.
