Deadline express that season two of the Hulu series How I Met Your Father is right around the corner. Season two will have weekly episodes every Tuesday on Hulu after its first episode premieres on January 24. This is following the success of the first season that released earlier 2022.
As stated by Deadline, How I Met Your Father is written by Isaac Aptaker (I Want You Back, Grandfathered) and Elizabeth Berger (Love, Victor, This Is Us). The series originally premiered on January 18, 2022, as a spin-off of the CBS sitcom, How I Met Your Mother. Set in 2050, Kim Cattrall’s (Queer As Folk, Filthy Rich) character Sophie, is telling her son she met his father back in 2022. Present day Sophie is played Hillary Duff (A Cinderella Story, The Lizzie McGuire Movie) who belongs to a group of friends figuring out what they want out of life through a string of different comedic adventures, figuring out how to fall in love in the age of dating apps.
According to Deadline, those friends and potential love interests include Francia Raisa (The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Life-Size ) Josh Peck (Drake & Josh, Turner & Hooch) Christopher Lowell (My Best Friend’s Exorcism, Glow) Tom Ainsley (Serpent, Jarhead 3: The Siege) Tien Tran (Candyman, Asner) Suraj Sharma(Life of Pi, Happy Death Day 2U). These actors will be back in season two to continue the series.
