The next installment of American Horror Story is hotly anticipated. In large part because of the all-star cast that includes Lady Gaga, American Horror Story: Hotel promises to be a big television event.
The new trailer for the upcoming season gives a good look at many of the cast members, including Gaga, in character. The full teaser can be watched below.
The creepy 30-second clip gives a small taste of what fans can expect for the season. It looks like there will be plenty of interesting characters and disturbing scenes. Notable character appearances include Lady Gaga as The Countess, who she describes as an old soul, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Also seen is Matt Bomer’s character, Donovan, looking rather sinister as he spins in a chair in a pink blazer. The hotel itself is the real star of the trailer and the old-timey feel and character of the hotel are sure to make a perfect setting for the season. This season is set to amp up the creep factor with the inclusion of the most disturbing scene in the show’s history according to co-creator Ryan Murphy. Entertainment Weekly reported on Murphy’s comments about that scene and the season in general here.
Maybe it will have something to do with the person or monster that is seen being stitched up into a mattress in the teaser above. There’s also plenty of creepy-looking children making their way through the hotel.
The premiere is less than a month out and will air on FX on October 7. Just in time for pre-Halloween viewing.
