Hanna is based upon the 2011 film under the same name and was directed by Joe Wright (Atonement) with Farr’s script. The Amazon original series centers on the titular character who is a fifteen-year-old girl who has enhanced DNA due to a CIA operation that was to build homegrown super soldiers. Currently, the show is available to stream in its entirety on Amazon Prime Video. For the newly announced third season, Farr will remain on the show as an executive producer and writer. According to Deadline, NBCUniversal International Studios President stated that “Thanks to David Farr, Tom Coan, and the wonderful cast and crew of Hanna for delivering two smashing seasons, and to Amazon for being the best partner anyone could hope for.
