The newest NBC political drama has just found its POTUS in Alfre Woodard, says TVLine.
The 61-year-old actress will play the President in NBC’s State of Affairs.
The show follows a CIA agent, played by Katharine Heigl, who serves as a counselor of the POTUS. It will premiere next season.
On Alfre Woodards’s multiple credits are Hattie in Copper, Ruby in True Blood and Betty in Desperate Housewives, among others.
