Alan Ritchson Talks About How Season Three Of ‘Reacher’ Will Explore More Classic Stories

According to ScreenRant, after the release of its second season, Reacher already has information on its third season. Star of the series Alan Ritchson (Titans, Fast X) recently gave some details of what is to be expected from the third season after the second installment. In an interview, Ritchon said that the next season may not have anything to do with Jack Reacher’s past and would instead be more like, “classic Reacher stories.”

In an interview with Comicbook Ritchson said, “I can’t say too much about Season three, but I will say there’s a lot of classic Reacher stories which are just adventures that he gets sucked into in a big way. And we get to enjoy Reacher in a new world. It may not have anything to do with family, with his past, he’s just living that adventure out and that’s kind of the direction that we’ve gone and it seems to really be working.”

Reacher is based on the Jack Reacher novel series by Lee Child (Killing Floor). The series follows the story of a retired military police officer named Jack Reacher who is arrested for a murder he didn’t commit. Due to this, he finds himself in the middle of a deadly conspiracy that is full of dirty cops, shady businessmen, and even scheming politicians.

The series cast includes Ritchson as Jack Reacher, Maria Sten (Channel Zero) as Frances Neagley, Malcolm Goodwin (iZombie) as Oscar Finlay, Willia Fitzgerald (The Fall of the House of Usher) as Roscoe Conklin, Serinda Swan (Redemption Day) as Karla Dixon, Shaun Sipos (Outer Range) as David O’Donnell, Harvey Guillén (What We Do in the Shadows) as Jasper and many others.

Reacher is available to stream on Prime Video. The second season of the series recently aired on December 15th.
