The 40-year-old actress will be appearing on one episode of Modern Family this season, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The actress, who has been heard as Lana Kane in the animation series Archer for the past five years, is heading to USA Network to play a friend of Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) in Modern Family.
Aisha Tyler is set to play Wendy, a former law school classmate of Mitchell who he’ll be joining in her new society. They used to be good friends, but now their relationship is going to take a new route when she becomes his boss.
The actress will be making her appearance in this season’s 16th episode, titled “Spring-a-Ding-Fling”, which still has not set an air date.
Modern Family is coming back from its winter hiatus tonight.
