

According to TVLine, the highly anticipated revival of ABC’s Scrubs has added nine recurring guest stars. TVLine has confirmed, including two familiar faces reprising memorable roles from the medical comedy’s original nine-season run. Production got underway this week for an early 2026 premiere on ABC.
As per TVLine, Robert Maschio (As the World Turns, Cougar Town) as Todd and Phill Lewis (City Slickers, Kicking & Screaming) as Hooch, will be returning to the series and are joined by Vanessa Bayer (Saturday Night Live, I love That for You) as Sibby, and Joel Kim Booster (Loot, Fire Island) as attending physician Dr. Eric Park. The new intern class will consist of five newbies: Ava Bunn (Worked to Death, Head Shot) as Serena, Jacob Dudman (Fate: The Winx Saga, The Stranger) as Asher, David Gridley (All American, It Takes Three) as Blake, Layla Mohammadi (Mad About You, Lioness, ) as Amara, and Amanda Morrow (Law & Order: SVU) as Dashana.
According to TVLine, the new cast joins series regulars returning to the series, which includes Zach Braff (Garden State, Wish I Was Here) as JD, Donald Faison (Clueless, Remember the Titans) as Turk and Sarah Chalke (Rick and Morty, Animal Control) as Elliot. Alum cast members Judy Reyes (Devious Maids, The Circle) as Carla and John C. McGinley (Wall Street, Point Break) as Cox will heavily recur through the new series.
As per TVLine, Scrubs follows the lives of J.D. and his friends as they navigate their medical careers and personal lives at Sacred Heart Hospital, focusing on the emotional toll and camaraderie of working in a high-pressure environment.
According to TVLine, in Scrubs Season 10, “JD and Turk scrub in together for the first time in a long time,” according to the official logline. “Medicine has changed, interns have changed, but their bromance has stood the test of time. Characters new and old navigate the waters of Sacred Heart with laughter, heart and some surprises along the way.”
Scrubs can be streamed on Disney+ and Hulu.
