ABC is set to release season five of American Housewife later this month and has officially released its trailer, according to Variety. The series follows Katie Otto, played by Katy Mixon (Mike & Molly, Eastbound & Down), as a wife and mother who lives in the wealthy city of Westport, Connecticut while attempting to pave a modern future for her kids. Alongside Mixon, the series stars Diedrich Bader (Napoleon Dynamite, The Drew Carey Show), Meg Donnelly (Zombies), Daniel DiMaggio (The Loud House, A Tiger’s Tail), Giselle Eisenberg (Life in Pieces, I’ll Be Home for Christmas), and Ali Wong (Always Be My Maybe).
In addition to American Housewife, ABC will also debut its five-part docuseries entitled Our America: Living While Black from October 19 to October 23. The special will follow generations of Black families in America as they deal with racism, healthcare, education, etc. It can also be watched via Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, and Android TV.
