

According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC is setting up its 2026-27 lineup with series getting new seasons. After picking up Abbott Elementary for another season, the network has renewed three dramas, including 911, 911: Nashville, and High Potential. The three series are known for being some of the network’s top shows of the current season. 911 will air its 10th season overall and fourth on ABC, High Potential will head into season three and 911: Nashville into season two.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, High Potential will have a new showrunner for the upcoming season. Todd Harthan (Rosewood, Skinwalkers) will be stepping down as showrunner to focus on the development of an Eragon series, based on Christopher Paolini’s (Eldest Deluxe Edition, To Sleep in a Sea of Stars) books, at Disney+. Harthan will be credited as co-creator with Paolini and run the show along with Todd Helbing. High Potential is ABC’s most-watched show for the second year in a row. The procedural starring Kaitlin Olson (The Mick, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) is averaging 12.67 million viewers with a week of streaming and other delayed viewing, ranking second among all network series in 2025-26.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, follows Olson’s character, Morgan Gillory, in a crime drama about a brilliant single mom with a high-IQ, non-conventional approach to solving crimes. She has a knack for being able to solve problems, whether they’re hers or others’, as she helps the LAPD solve crimes as a consultant.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, 911 and 911: Nashville rank among the top 20 network series in adults 18-49. The flagship show is also a top 20 series in total viewers with 7.82 million. 911 is a procedural drama exploring the high-pressure lives of Los Angeles first responders, which includes police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and dispatchers as they face shocking, life-threatening emergencies. 911: Nashville is almost the same as the flagship series, as it follows first responders in Nashville.
911, 911: Nashville, and High Potential are available to stream on Hulu and Disney+.
