After concluding that last year’s installment would be the last of the special, the network has decided to revive the show for at least one more year, The Hollywood Reporter explains.
The two-hour primetime special will highlight the year’s most popular and prominent names in the entertainment culture. Among the featured people will be Oprah Winfrey, Scarlett Johansson, Neil Patrick Harris and Chelsea Handler. Other names will be announced at a later date.
“I was absolutely delighted when ABC approached me to do another year of 10 Most Fascinating People,” said Walters in a statement. “I know we said last year was our last, but there are just too many fascinating people out there…and you never pass up the opportunity to interview Oprah, Neil, Chelsea or Scarlett.”
This year’s special will air on Sunday, December 14 from 9-11 PM.
