According to Screenrant, Ironheart currently sits as the second lowest rated MCU show ahead of Secret Invasion with 68% critics’ score and a 55% audience score. Even before the series premiere, it faced a wave of review bombing, with some users attempting to artificially depress its score. Early reviews have praised Thorne’s performance and the series solid entry, it still falls shorts with previous installments such as Ms. Marvel and Hawkeye. As more reviews continues to pure in,  Ironheart’s rating could have a dramatic change, raising higher on the list.

According to mxdwn, the rest of the story remains to be unveiled and may reveal a significant character transformation in Riri. She will come to realize that her actions are wrong and will plan to put an end to the hood. The upcoming episodes are expected to illustrate how Riri’s childhood friend Natalie, portrayed by Lyric Ross (Wendell & Wild, The Class), along with her other loved ones, will inspire her, ultimately leading to the climactic battle in the series finale.

The success of superhero series largely depends on timing, as they must navigate the competitive ratings landscape while providing a compelling narrative for viewers around the globe.
