The second season of Netflix’s live-action series One Piece has begun sailing its production. Currently, the anime and manga seem to be closing on their final act. Now, report has been leaked on various social media posts, specifically speaking about the show’s casting call, Comicbook.com reports.

According to Comicbook.com, fans were able to find an alleged casting call from Netflix in which seven characters were shown. These are new characters for fans of the live-action series. But they are quite familiar to those who watch the anime series.
According to Comicbook.com, for the character of Vivi, Netflix is searching for an actress who can portray a “female (17-20), Middle Eastern/North African or South Asian.” Since fans of the anime know that the Arabasta kingdom is set to be inspired by the iconography of the Middle East, which shows lots of desert, this isn’t a surprise, and the platform is seeking an actress that could represent the region.
Fans also noticed joyfully, according to Comicbook.com, that the beloved character of Nico Robin is being searched for. The heroine will become a major character in the One Piece series, but during this specific saga, anime fans know that she is named Miss All Sunday, and will only be introduced in this arc. Netflix says that they are interested in female actors, age ranging from 20 to 39 years old, who are of Hispanic/Latino race.
According to Comicbook.com, there are other roles written in the report, including the characters of Smoker, Tashigi, Mr. 5, Crocus, and Miss Valentine. Fans are surprised to notice that Crocus is included in this list, but this character was introduced in the Reverse Mountain Arc. To be specific, Crocus is the character that fishes Luffy’s crew out of the whale Lagoon, and gives a gift to Nami that will help the pirates guide them through the Red Line to reach their final destination, the Grand Line.
