

News for the second season of the popular comedy series, High Potential has been buzzing around social media and the series producer Todd Harthan (Rosewood, The Resident) promises the same blend of crime drama with a hint of comedic relief. According to TVLine, the second season will see Morgan, played by Kaitlin Olson (Finding Dory, The Heat) being the next target of the nortoious game master, played by David Giuntoli (Grimm, Superman & Lois).
Harthan discussed in an interview with TVLine about the a various fan theories created for the second season ,”Like, this is one theory, this is another theory. They think he might be this or that. Some of them were nuts, but you know what? In some world, I could connect those dots. And some of them were just bonkers.” With Harthan’s insight , the second season is poised to deliver a gripping narrative that will keep viewers guessing on what will happen next.
Reported by TVLine, Harthan’s talks about Giuntoli’s chilling performance within the first season two part finale and what that entails in the upcoming season,”He is going to mix things up and challenge Morgan’s brain in a much different way than he did in our finale. It’s really going to challenge her HPI and make her head spin in a way that creates this renewed friction with the cops that she’s working with, because it tests their trust and their loyalty to each other. He’s just in there as this master disruptor, and it should be very fun to watch.”
The first episode of the second season of High Potential will be available to stream on Hulu starting September 16, with new episodes released every Tuesday. The entire first season is also available for viewing. It will be interesting to see what bizarre cases Morgan and the LAPD will encounter as they work toward capturing the game master, also known as David Peck.
