Hollywood kicked off its annual awards season today (Sunday January 7th) with the 2018 Golden Globe Awards. This year it was hosted by Seth Meyers; he host’s the Late Night show on NBC. The Golden Globes gives recognition to the women and men in television and film. Big Little Lies was the biggest winner tonight taking home four Golden Globe awards.

The Handmaid’s Tale is based off of book by Margaret Atwood. The creator of the show is Bruce Miller. The show is about a dystopian society, and a woman that is forced to live as a concubine.
