According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio has confirmed that a Game of Thrones movie is in the early stages of development. The showrunners of the original series, David Benioff (Gemini Man) and Dan Weiss (3 Body Problem) has stated that they wanted to conclude the iconic fantasy series with three films
According to The Hollywood Reporter, this is not the addition within the franchise as the second season of the prequel series, House of the Dragon, which takes place a hundred years before the original series, focuses on the war between the two factions of House Targaryen has concluded back in August 4.
There is another series in development which is dubbed A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, which is scheduled to premier in 2025.
