According to a Max Press Release, Max has approved a Friends four-part fan challenge called Fast Friends, created by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television. This will be the first ever show of its kind, where fans will complete a selection of challenges and games from the show.
Their knowledge of Friends will be tested through the puzzles, games and trivia, and the winning team will be awarded the title of Ultimate Friends Fan.
The game show will be filmed at The Friends Experience: The One in New York City, a flagship located in NYC, and will include activations, recreated sets and rooms filled with nostalgia. The event’s main goal is to provide a look into the show’s history. The event was created by Warner Bros. Television Group, Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and Original X Productions.
Fast Friends is produced by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television, which partners with Warner Horizon. The executive producers are Bridgette Theriault (The Ellen DeGeneres Show, How Music Got Free), Dan Norris (Family Game Fight, The Real Full Monty), Dan Sacks (So You Think You Can Dance, A Chance to Dance) and co-executive producer Richard Burgio (The Opposition with Jordan Klepperx, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 days).
In addition to the game show, a special 30th-anniversary event is expected to be held with innovative filters, fan-favorite episodes, in-app surprises and lots more. Fans can watch their favorite episode of Friends in 4K UHD if they have Max Ultimate Ad-Free subscribers.
To give audiences perspective on the essence of the shows, Max viewers can also expect some 30th-anniversary theme rails that will focus on each category made.

Bonus content will also include various episodes of the story of Friends as they dive into the creativity team discussing casting, development and challenges. Finally, the episode “The Legacy of Friends” covers the end of Friends, the influence of pop culture on the show and the legacy it carried out.
