Netflix has recently shared the first teaser trailer for Arcane season two on their Twitter account. The short teaser was a surprise to many fans who have been waiting for the second installment of the series since the success of the first season that premiered back in 2021.

The animated series, Arcane, is based on the popular video game franchise League of Legends by Riot Games. The series follows the story of a group of individuals in the rich city of Piltover and the underbelly of Zaun. The two cities are pinned against one another as unrest stirs as inventors and thieves, politicians, and crime lords chafe against the constraints of society. As chaos embodies both cities two sisters steal an artifact of untold power. The two sisters are now pinned against one another in an escalating war.
According to Collider, although Netflix has kept the information on where the series is going with the second season under wraps, it is well known that they will continue the League of Legends lore. Spoiler for the series ahead: Since the end of the first season, Vi and Jinx have plenty of unfinished business with one another, and Ekko did recently reveal his hideout to Heimerdinger.
The series cast includes Hailee Steinfeld (The Marvels) as Vi, Kevin Alejandro (Arrow) as Jayce, Jason Spisak (Young Justice) as Silco, Remy Hii (Marco Polo) as Marcus, Harry Lloyd (The Theory of Everything) as Viktor, Toks Olagundoye (The Neighbors) as Mel Medarda, Ella Purnell as Jinx, JB Blanc (Barry)as Vander, and many others. The action-adventure series is created by newcomers Alex Yee and Christain Linke.
Season one of Arcane is available to stream on Netflix. Season two of the series will premiere on the streamer in November 2024.
