The first and only season of Marvel and Disney+’s WandaVision aired on the streaming platform back in 2021, and nearly two years later, a deleted scene has been revealed to fans. According to IGN, the deleted scene reveals the identity of a witness Agent Jimmy Woo, played by Randall Park (Fresh Off the Boat), was looking for. Park’s character says, “Let’s keep an eye out for a missing witness. We still need him to testify. Should be easier to spot now that everything’s back to normal.”
After Agent Woo moves out of the frame in the 37 second exclusive deleted scene posted to YouTube, Ralph Bohner/ Pietro Maximoff/ Quicksilver, played by Evan Peters (Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story), walks up to a firetruck and cuts off his ankle bracelet with pliers, then runs away. Peters made his first appearance in WandaVision in episode five, titled “On a Very Special Episode…” Wanda Maximoff is played by Elizabeth Olsen (Love & Death), and her husband Vision is played by Paul Bettany (The Da Vinci Code). The introduction of Wanda’s re-cast dead brother to the show excited fans as they believed this could have been an opportunity for Peters’ X-Men Quicksilver character to cross over into Marvel’s realm following the death of Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Quicksilver character in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Marvel and Disney did not go the route of keeping Peters as Quicksilver, but instead made him just another one of Westview’s innocent victims in Wanda’s scheme.
The reveal of this deleted scene comes eight days before the 4K UHD Blu-ray DVD of WandaVision becomes available for fans to purchase. Until then, season one of WandaVision is available on Disney+.
The exclusive deleted scene has collected almost thirty-thousand views in the ten hours since it was posted on IGN’s YouTube channel. The video is posted below.
