ABC is working on a new project with Mila Kunis’ Orchard Farm Productions.
Deadline reports that comedian Nick Thune will star, co-write, and executive produce Holy Sh*t, a workplace comedy for the network that is executive produced by Kunis. The series centers on a controversial new pastor, played by Thune, and the staff of his floundering church as they fight to stick around in a contentious modern world.
Holy Sh*t marks another in over a half-dozen projects for Kunis’ Orchard Farm Productions since launching in 2014, which include Hunted, Made In LA, and Rob Zombie’s Trapped.
Thune is a well-accomplished actor/comedian/musician, with plenty of stand-up appearances on Conan, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Late Show with James Corden, and on The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail. His stand-up special Folk Hero is available on Netflix, and he has a new special coming up for Seeso called Nick Thune: Good Guy.
Holy Sh*t was written by Thune and frequent writing partner Kevin Parker Flynn. Thune and Flynn executive produce along with Kunis, Lisa Sterbakov, Cami Curtis, Susan Curtis, Dave Becky, and Michael Rotenberg.
