According to The Hollywood Reporter, with the fourth season of Prime Video’s Reacher concluding and the fifth in production, the streamer is already gearing up for a sixth. Prime Video announced Monday that it has renewed Reacher for a sixth season. The series has been one of the streamer’s biggest shows, and it’s no surprise it already got renewed for another season ahead of the new one. The run of early renewals stretches back to season three, which Prime Video ordered two weeks before the second season debuted in December 2023.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, this makes the series Prime Video’s second longest-running scripted series. The series has had a big audience since it first aired on the streamer. Amazon says 66 million people worldwide watched at least some of season four over its first 28 days of release. The second to fourth seasons are the three most-watched seasons of a returning series on the streamer.

The Hollywood Reporter reports Reacher follows Jack Reacher, played by Alan Ritchson (War Machine, Runner), a towering former U.S. Army military police major who now roams the United States as a drifter. Reacher is armed with investigative skills and unmatched strength; he constantly finds himself drawn into dangerous situations.
