NBC has released first-look photos for season three of the highly anticipated hit TV sitcom St. Denis Medical. The series is a mockumentary set in a hospital.
The main cast members set to return to the series for the upcoming season three includes Wendi McLendon-Covey (The Goldbergs, Bridesmaids) as executive director Joyce Henderson, Allison Tolman (Why Women Kill, Fargo) as nurse Alex Mazurkian, David Alan Grier (In Living Color, Jumanji) as emergency physician Ron Leonard, Josh Lawson (Mortal Combat, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues) as trauma surgeon Bruce Scheweitz, Mekki Leeper (Jury Duty, The Sex Lives of College Girls) as nurse Matt Pearson, Kahyun Kim (Freaky Friday, American Gods) as nurse Serena Jung, and Kaliko Kauahi (Superstore, iCarly) as nurse Val Kealani.
St. Denis Medical first premiered back in November of 2024. The story follows the hospital staff in a single-camera mockumentary as they show how they work together helping their patients and how they navigate the ongoing workplace issues that arise during their every day shifts at the unfunded hospital based in Oregon.
Last season’s finale episode left audiences on a cliffhanger with Ron’s surgery being a success, but with him asking as soon as he woke up, “Where’s my Joyce?”, verifying his affection towards the executive director. Since Ron just completed major surgery, he would need some time to recover before returning to work at the hospital with the rest of the staff. Audiences will have to wait to see how Ron’s recovery and return to work will pan out, along with showing the possible relationship now of coworkers nurse Matt and nurse Serena after their first kiss from last season.
The exclusive first look photos also previewed recurring cast members like Dave Theune (The Big Bang Theory, Good Girls) as nurse Keith, along with Ariana Madix’s (Love Island USA, Vanderpump Rules) character Dr. Brooke Emerson returning in one of the newest episodes for the upcoming season as well. Audiences will have to see how Dr. Emerson will handle the ongoing antics that her ex-boyfriend Bruce will try to attempt this season.
St. Denis Medical was created by Eric Ledgin and Justin Spitzer (American Auto, Superstore) and the show has already been nominated in the past for Critic’s Choice Awards Best Comedy Series.
St. Denis Medical is set to premiere season three of the series this fall, broadcasting on NBC on November 2nd, 2026 at 8PM EST, with availability to stream next day on Peacock.
