
According to Deadline, Prime Video‘s Rose Hill adds five new cast members to its series. The new cast members include Siobhan McGroarty (Law & Order, V/H/S/Halloween) as Cora, Sophia Reid-Gantzert (Popular Theory, Scaredy Cats) as Emmy Belmont, West Mulholland (A Great Divide, Weirdos Welcome) as Oliver Belmont, Gigi Zumbado (Bridge and Tunnel, The Price We Pay) as Tabitha, and Curtis Hamilton (The Real Friends of WeHo, Deadly DILF) as Bash Rousseau.
As per Deadline, the series is based on the bestselling book by Elsie Silver (Fever Dream, Wild Love). The official logline for Rose Hill is as follows: “Based on the New York Times bestselling series by Elsie Silver, Rose Hill follows best friends and neighbors West Belmont, a rancher with commitment issues, and brooding record label owner Ford Grant, aka Forbes’ “World’s Hottest Billionaire,” who’s long carried a torch for West’s sister, Rosie. And when country-pop star Skylar Stone breezes into their rugged mountain town, the heat gets turned way up in this romantic family drama.”
According to Deadline, Heidi Cole McAdams (Death and Other Details, Paris Is Always A Good Idea) serves as writer, showrunner, and executive producer. Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man, The Only Living Boy in New York) is set to direct the pilot and second episode and executive produce. Silver will also serve as executive producer alongside Wyck Godfrey (Charlie Harper, Smile), Marty Bowen (Turtles All the Way Down, Everything Must Go), and James Seidman (Boys of Tommen, Off Campus) for Temple Hill.
As per Deadline, Reid-Gantzert most recently recurred in Netflix’s Free Bert, with additional TV credits in Hulu’s Death and Other Details. Mulholland recurred on TNT’s Animal Kingdom and made guest appearances on FX’s Legion. McGroarty has made guest appearances in Law & Order and other series. Zumbado has recently been in CBS comedy DMV as well as other TV credits. Hamilton made his debut by leading in the Sony and Lifetime feature biopic Surviving Compton.
