

Disney+ is preparing to bring a familiar fantasy franchise to its ever growing library of content. According to Screenrant, the franchise in question is Warrior Cats, which was written by Erin Hunter,, in which the novel conclude 23 years ago. The novel is available in 38 different language and has sold over 90 million copies worldwide, which showcases how the narrative has captive a wide audience and grew a massive fandom.
Reported by Screenrant, the plot of the approaching series will be the same as in the novel in which numerous generation of feral cats and living in groups known as clans, in which are the Thunder, Shadow, Wind River and Sky they are lead by prophecy and bound by a strict moral code. The main five of the series are ThunderClan, ShadowClan, WindClan, RiverClan and SkyClan, who all followed the warrior code, but will soon be distorted by the Shadow.
The main character of the franchise is a domesticated house cat named Rusty, who joins the Thunder Clan, and who raised through the ranks to become known as Firestar and now must go on a journey to stop evil from spreading. Stated by Screenrant,, the creative mind that will be directing the series will be emmy winner animator , Rodrigo Blaas (Wall-E, Up), who will collaborate El Guiri Studios, whose known works consists of Star Wars: Sith.

At the moment there is no information surrounding the release date of the Warrior Cats series, but it is rumored for 2028.
