Episode 5 begins with a bridal shower for Shyanne, organized by the church choir, where she’s surrounded by gifts as Margo looks on. Afterward, they return to the car, and Jinx arrives to pick up Margo. With everyone present, Shyanne finalizes the plans for the Vegas wedding. The episode then cuts to their road trip to Vegas, with Margo and Shyanne in one car and Jinx and Bodhi following closely behind in another. Once they arrive, they meet Kenny in the casino, where he and Jinx share an awkward first interaction. Afterward, they head off to check into their rooms.
After getting settled, Jinx takes Bodhi out to see the flamingos. Back in the room, Margo uploads her collaboration with KC and Rose to OnlyFans and withdraws $500 from her balance. She later joins Shyanne and Kenny for a live magic show, where the magician invites Shyanne and Kenny onstage. Unbeknownst to them, the trick takes an inappropriate turn—featuring lingerie—and ends up humiliating Kenny in front of the audience.
After the show, Margo heads to Shyanne’s room for their planned manicures, but Shyanne cancels, explaining that Kenny is still upset from the magic show and has just realized he forgot his tie for the wedding ceremony. She explains that she needs to go with him to find one because he doesn’t want to pick out a tie that she doesn’t like. Instead, Margo steps up and offers to help Kenny shop for a tie so Shyanne can go ahead with her manicure. While shopping for ties, Kenny and Margo start to connect. As he speaks warmly about Shyanne, Margo realizes just how deeply he cares for her. She softens towards him, and she chooses a black bow tie for Kenny.

That evening, Kenny treats Shyanne and Margo to dinner at a fancy restaurant. He tells them he plans to be a dependable presence in the family—unlike someone who keeps a second life—subtly throwing shade at Jinx. Shyanne quickly comes to Jinx’s defense, pointing out that he’s in Vegas to help with Bodhi. Later, Shyanne stops by Margo and Jinx’s hotel room to say that they’re heading out, now that Kenny’s asleep. She wants a proper bachelorette party.
They head to a bar, where Margo is forced to hide Bodhi inside her shirt. Meanwhile, Shyanne and Jinx play pool together, reminiscing about the first time they met at that same bar. Watching them get along so easily leaves Margo feeling confused. Shyanne tells Jinx he could have had her, but he blew it. Just then, Bodhi starts crying from under Margo’s shirt, prompting Jinx to quickly take him and leave the bar. With Jinx gone, Shyanne and Margo set off on a wild, eventful night in Vegas.
They wrap up the night at a restaurant, where Margo presents Shyanne with her four “somethings.” They share a tender moment, but it’s disrupted when Margo admits she’s on OnlyFans. Shyanne reacts strongly, leaving the restaurant in tears and telling Margo that this choice has damaged the respect others have for her.
The next morning, the episode cuts to the wedding ceremony as Shyanne walks down the aisle toward Kenny, while Margo watches from the seats. The Elvis-styled officiant performs a song, with Shyanne joining in. Just outside the doorway, Jinx observes the ceremony with clear regret. He steps out of the venue, beginning to cry. After the ceremony, Margo offers a toast to Kenny and Shyanne. Shyanne stays quiet, still tense with Margo.
The episode ends with Margo and Jinx sharing room service together. Jinx reassures her that she didn’t ruin Shyanne’s wedding day, and they decide to leave Vegas that same night. Meanwhile, Shyanne and Kenny get ready to have sex together in their room. As Jinx packs their belongings, Margo steps outside to dip her feet in the pool and texts KC and Rose, saying she’s heading back and ready to create art again. Moments later, she receives a message from Jinx: “Let’s get the fuck out of Vegas.”
Episode 5 of Margo’s Got Money Troubles delivers some of the series’ most revealing character work so far, set against the backdrop of a long-awaited Vegas wedding. Despite the ceremony’s certainty, each character is left uncertain about what they truly want. Shyanne’s emerging feelings toward Jinx surface during their pool game at the bar, while Jinx, after briefly witnessing the wedding, can no longer hide his conflicted emotions about her marriage. Margo, too, finds herself at a crossroads, telling Shyanne the night before the wedding that she doesn’t have to go through with it if she’s unsure, while also recognizing how good of a man Kenny is. Shyanne’s revelation of Margo’s OnlyFans account further strains the already complicated mother-daughter dynamic between them. The episode also gives Kenny more depth, with Greg Kinnear expertly portraying a man who recognizes how different he is from Shyanne yet deeply loves her nonetheless. With Shyanne now aware of Margo’s OnlyFans, the question remains whether their fractured relationship can be repaired.
