Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has announced its fourth season will stream July 23 on Paramount+. The official teaser trailer was revealed in a panel at a Mexico CCXP panel. See the teaser below. View some first-look images at the end of this article.

According to Paramount+, the fourth season has been described as follows: “The crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise – led by Captain Christopher Pike – embark on a series of thrilling and emotional adventures across the stars. As they journey to strange new worlds, they will battle inner demons and external threats, encounter colorful new characters, reunite with familiar faces and confront terrifying aliens. Through it all, they strive to embrace a bright, hopeful future.”

Cast members Rebecca Romijn (United, and X-Men: The Last Stand), Ethan Peck (The Curse of Sleeping Beauty, 10 Things I Hate About You), Celia Rose Gooding and Paul Wesley (The Vampire Diaries, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds) were in attendance at CCXP for the teaser announcement. The main cast includes Anson Mount (Scarpetta, MK Ultra), Jess Bush (Halifax: Retribution, Les Norton), Christina Chong (Bobby Jaws, Line of Duty), Melissa Navia (Bull, Tower of Silence), Babs Olusanmokun (Dune: Part Two, The Book of Clarence) and Martin Quinn (The Lovers, Derry Girls).

Akiva Goldsman (The Client; Batman Forever) and Henry Alonso Myers (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Ugly Betty) serve as co-showrunners. Both join fellow executive producers Alex Kurtzman (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Star Trek), Aaron Baiers (Star Trek: Short Treks, Star Trek: Section 31), Dana Horgan (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Supergirl), Alan McElroy (Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, Wrong Turn), Robbie Thompson (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, The Winchesters), Frank Siracusa (The Handmaid’s Tale, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds), John Weber (Vikings, The Tudors), Chris Fisher (Black Sails, Saints & Strangers), Mount, Rod Roddenberry (Earth: Final Conflict, Star Trek: Section 31) and Trevor Roth (Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Picard).

The series was renewed for a fifth and final season last year. All three seasons of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds are available to stream on Paramount+ globally with a subscription.
