With just one week away from the continuation of the final season of Stranger Things, Netflix has dropped an official trailer for Volume Two. Spoiler warning for anyone who has not caught up with Volume One of the season.
The trailer picks up where we left off in Volume One. Our heroes had failed when it came to finding and defeating Vecna, Vecna was also able to take the children that had been under the protection of the military. The trailer brings assurance by showing that our heroes may have lost the battle but the war is far from over. There is a scene in the trailer where Eleven is asking for help from her lost sister, Kalli. We will also see Holly and Max exploring the Upside Down while also trying to avoid Vecna. The trailer mentions Vecna saying “it’s time for a new world,” perhaps there will be more to Vecna’s play that could involve the children he has taken. The military are also making a comeback as we see Nancy Wheeler rifling with a rifle firing at the military in another action scene. The trailer can be viewed on YouTube.
Returning for Volume Two are the following, Millie Bobby Brown (The Electric State, Enola Holmes 2) as Eleven, Finn Wolfhard (The Legend of Ochi, Saturday Night) as Mike Wheeler, Gaten Matarazzo (Haunted Hotel, Animal Farm) as Dustin Henderson, Noah Schnapp (The Turor, Hubie Halloween) as Will Byers, Caleb McLaughlin (The Book off Clarence, The Deliverance) as Lucas Sinclair, Winona Ryder (Bettlejuice Beeetlejuice, Gone in the Night) as Joyce Byers, David Harbour (Creature Commandos, Thunderbolts*) as Jim Hopper, Charlie Heaton (Billy Knight, No Future) as Johnathan Byers, Joe Keery (The American Revolution, Marmalade) as Steve Harrington, Natalia Dyer (All Fun and Games, Based on a True Story) as Nancy Wheeler, Sadie Sink (O’Dessa, A Sacrifice) as Max Mayfield, Priah Ferguson (My Dad the Bounty Hunter, Hamster & Gretel) as Erica Sinclair, Maya Hawke (Inside Out 2, The American Revolution) as Robin Buckley, Brett Gelman (Haunted Heist, Lady in the Lake) as Murray, and Jamie Campbell Bower (Emmanuelle, Witchboard) as Vecna.
