

Netflix’s video game adaptation series Tomb Raider Legend Of Lara Croft has released a trailer its the second season. The trailer reintroduces us to Lara Croft voiced by Haley Atwell (Mission Impossible, What If…?) along with an adventure that we will embark on in this new season.
According to the trailer, the bio reads, “Lara races across the globe to uncover ancient African relics before a techno-visonary bent on playing god uses them to unleash worldwide destruction.” The series adaptation is based on the video game under the same title. Written and executive produced by Tasha Huo (Red Sonja The Mighty Nein), Deadline reports Lara Croft, along with her best friend Sam, will travel around the globe and delve into the secrets of the African Orisha masks, dodge a dangerous billionaire who wants the masks, and discover the dark secrets and powers that could be god-like.
The series will conclude with this second season. According to Variety, the show originally premiered in October 2024 and was renewed soon after, though it was not confirmed that season two would be the final season until now. This will not be the last adaptation for Lara Croft. Amazon has announced a Tomb Raider live action series at Prime Video with Sophia Turner (X-Men Dark Phoenix, Game Of Thrones) confirmed to play the role of Lara Croft.
According to Deadline, the cast of the series consists of Atwell as Lara Croft, Karen Fukuhara (The Boys, Stone Cold Fox) as Sam Nishimura, O-T Fagbenle (All’s Fair, Splitsville) as Eshu, Allen Maldonado (Say What You Mean With Aida Rodriguez, Never Alone For Christmas) as Zip, and Earl Baylon (Arcane, Physical: Asia) as Jonah Maiava.
The series is set for streaming on December 11, 2025 on Netflix. According to Deadline, Netflix has also renewed two animated series, Devil May Cry and Long Short Story.
