

According to Deadline, NBC just published its first trailer for a new comedy series called Stumble. NBC will premiere the show on November 7, 2025, which it picked up in May of this year. The trailer shows Jenn Lyon’s (English Teacher, Happy Face) Courteney Potter find a new job as a coach of a junior college cheerleading team, attempting to win the championship and help other characters along the way. Deadline mentions the series also stars some incredible talent such as, Anissa Borrego (Shooting Sid, Elio)m Taran Killam (Night School, SNL50), Georgie Murphy (Gen V, One More Time), Ryan Pinkston (Laid, Young Rock), Jarrett Austin Brown (Moments of Youth, Smile 2), Arianna Davis (Dancing With You), and Taylor Dunbar (Fairytale, Ravel). The Broadway star, Kristin Chenoweth (The Holiday Junkie, Wicked), will have a guest appearance in the pilot and recur throughout the series.
The documentary-style Stumble will be on the schedule on Fridays after Happy Place, via Deadline. Other comedies on the schedule include Peacock’s The Office spin-off, The Paper, which airs its first season on broadcast behind season two of St. Denis Medical. The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins will also be premiering mid-season. This will star Tracy Morgan (Crutch, The Santa Clauses).
The Chairman of Television Studios NBC Entertainment and Peacock Scripted, Pearlena Igbokwe, stated to Deadline, “I do think Stumble is going to be a good companion for Happy’s Place because, while Happy Place’s is a multi-cam, and Stumble is a single-cam, in terms of sensibility, we think that those shows are similar. I think that both shows present a co-viewing opportunity for the family.”
Deadline also mentions that Monica Aldama, who appeared on the Netflix docuseries Cheer, will be an executive producer along with Liz Astrof (Not Yet Dead, The Conners)and Jeff Astrof (Shining Vale, Friends). Dana Honor (Pivoting, American Auto) produces through Defining Eve Productions along with Universal Television.
