

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Prime Video has revealed the premiere date and teaser for the romance series Maxton Hall. The series starring Damian Hardung (Red Bracelets: The Beginning) and Harriet Herbig-Matten (The Nordic Murders) will air on the streamer on November 7. The second season will be based on the second part of novel series Save You by author Mona Kasten (Lonely Heart). The series is supported by the German Motion Picture Fund.

Maxton Hall follows Ruby Bell, a student attending prestigious Maxton Hall on a scholarship. While attending the school she witnesses a secret involving her and the wealthy James Beaufort, leading to a passionate and unexpected romance.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, Prime Video teases the upcoming season as follows: “After their passionate night together in Oxford and her greatest life goal within reach, everything seems to be going perfectly for Ruby . But a stroke of fate in James’ family changes everything and James himself, of all people, brings her back from cloud nine to a harsh reality. But she can’t forget James — especially since he’s doing everything, he can to win her back.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cast of the series includes Hardung as James Beaufort, Herbig-Matten as Ruby Bell, Sonja Weißer (Unschuldig – Der Fall Julia B.) as Lydia Beaufort, Ben Felipe (Girl You Know It’s True) as Cyril Vega, Fedja van Huêt (Modern Love Amsterdam) as Mortimer Beaufort, Runa Greiner (Suck Me Shakespeer) as Ember Bell, Justus Riesner (Loving Her) as Alistair Ellington, Andrea Guo (Neuer Wind im Alten Land) as Lin Wang, Frederic Balonier (The Drag and Us) as Kieran Rutherford, Eli Riccardi (Mandy und die Mächte des Bösen) as Elaine Ellington and many others. Martin Schreier (The Night Father Christmas Died) returns to direct the second season of Maxton Hall – The World Between Us. Markus Brunnemann (Faking Hitler) and Ceylan Yildirim (Time Heroes), who also acts as head writer of the series, produce. Juliana Lima Dehne (1899) and Marlene Melchior (Loving Her) are also screenwriters for the second season. Valentin Debleris (Kaltstart) produces for UFA Fiction.
