‘The Book of Boba Fett’ Season 1 Episode 2 “Chapter 2”

Disney Plus’s original series ‘The Book Boba Fett’ season one episode two entitled “Chapter 2” kicks off with Temuera Morrison’s Boba Fett as he meets with the mayor of the town he rules. This is due to him ordering an assassin to kill him so he can have full control. Surprisingly, he chooses to return the assassin to the mayor safe and sound. In his mind, he wants to kill to the assassin for trying to kill him although he also knows he was just doing his job. It can be assumed by the viewer that as he was once an assassin for hire, he understands that it was just business. Which is why he decides not to kill him instead just return him to his boss. The interesting part about this is how the viewer sees that no one fears him, including the mayor. This is shown by how when Boba enters a club no one even cares to bow and they continue their business.

Additionally, the viewer is treated to another flash to when Boba was with the tusken raiders. Here the viewer sees that he is now allowed to train with them to learn how to fight. This is a result of the raiders showing him that he is worthy of being one of them as he has proven capable of surviving the desert. This eventually leads to all of them being attacked by spice smugglers by means of an armored train. Luckily, Boba leads an attack on the train in the series most exciting action scene demonstrating just how fierce they can be as they kill both on and off the train.

At the end of the episode, Boba is given an herb that leads him on a sprit journey where he finds himself. Here the viewer sees the remnants of his past that held him back from becoming a better version of himself. Luckily, he is able to let go and with this he acquires a branch to make a weapon. Interestingly enough, the weapon making is held as a ceremony for Boba with garments made for him symbolizing him becoming one of them.
