Previously on the Disney+ series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Peter Parker (Hudson Thames) and Norman Osborn (Colman Domingo) struggled to find the perfect and improved suit for Spider-Man. But, after going through three suits, they finally get to one that fits him the best and resembles his old one. Lonnie Lincoln (Eugene Byrd) struggled to balance his normal life with the 110th Street gang. Norman’s son, Harry (Zeno Robinson) finds out Peter and Norman’s secret after seeing Peter come into Norman’s office after saving some civilians.
The new episode begins with Dr. Otto Octavius (Hugh Dancy) meeting the robber, Mila Masaryk (Sarah Natochenny), from the previous episode. She asks him if he sells weapons and he says that he sells “enhancements.” She gives him the bag of money so that he can sell her something that will help her get her friends out of prison.
Peter and Harry are with Norman in his office. Norman wants to talk about Harry joining the team, now that he knows their secret. Norman has to leave for a meeting, so Harry drives Peter to school.
Nico tells Peter that everyone is talking about him and Harry being “friends.” She points out how busy he’s been and she’s concerned he doesn’t have enough time for himself. In a showing of good faith, Peter promises to take Nico to the movies that night.
Meanwhile, Lonnie gets in trouble with his football coach by missing his practices. He gets on the field, getting ready, until Big Don calls him and demands him to come to the hideout, with two gang members picking him up at school.
Later, Mila gets her friends out of prison. She uses the helmet Dr. Octavius sold her which blasts a powerful laser beam. She uses it to fight off the police during the escape.
Harry tells Peter about the escape and sends him the location. Peter dodges the lasers that Mila shoots at him. Two prisoners escape while she’s distracted with Peter, while the other stays behind to help her.
Next, we see Lonnie and the gang meeting face-to-face with the Scorpions. Gargan, the Scorpions’ leader, demands they leave their turf, but Big Don says it’s theirs. The two gangs begin to fight. Gargan goes after Big Don with a knife, causing Lonnie to tackle him and he gets stabbed. Before Gargan can attack Lonnie, the police show up and everyone runs off.
We go back to Peter and Mila fighting. Her friend Mikhail tries to stop her, but she ignores him. She distracts Peter and throws him into a car. Mikhail tells her to stop, so she turns around and shoots lasers at him. Before they hit him, Peter jumps in front of him, taking the lasers head-on. Mila knew Peter would sacrifice himself to protect another life. Mikhail is upset Mila, used him as bait and takes her helmet. This allows Peter to grab the helmet just as the police arrive.
After the fight, Peter shows up at the movie theatre with Nico waiting for him, but he doesn’t show up alone bringing Harry. Nico says it’s fine, but her body language speaks differently.
Back at the hideout, Lonnie and the gang all circle up. Big Don is happy that Lonnie saved him and gives him a new nickname, “Tombstone.”
Overall, this episode was filled with lots of action, in a good way. We will definitely see Dr. Octavius again soon. Harry becoming a member of the team seems to be pretty helpful for Peter, especially when Norman isn’t able to. Will Harry and Nico be able to get along? And what will happen now that Lonnie has missed practice again?
