Episode 7 opens with Pastor Mark talking about how white families are being attacked every day, before we see Donald giving his own speech about The Land Run. Cherokee Indian protestors interrupt the Land Run ceremony to confront and criticize Donald about it, mentioning how it’s their land.

Lee speaks with Elijah about the smoking gun in the investigation. Frank enters a bar to have a discussion with Betty Jo. In it, they mention Alan’s death and exchange money for the location of the will. Frank then heads to the location of Arthur (Chutto’s grandfather) to collect the will.

Marty heads to the One Well church to investigate what goes on, where he encounters someone who was just tar-and-feathered. Lee goes with Cyrus to see his cousin to get a lawyer. After filling Cyrus’ cousin in on the situation, he agrees to help him. On the way out, Lee realizes he forgot about the parent-teacher conference, so he quickly drops off Cyrus to make it there. Lee hastily makes his way to the school to join the parent-teacher conference, where he finds Johnny in the classroom. Francis reveals that she told Johnny to come because he’s going to be in her life. Lee gets a call from Marty, telling him to get to the Crest Hill Burn Unit.

Frank tells Arthur that the will is null and fraudulent because the land is being sold, and offers him $1000 to give up the will. Arthur mistakes him for a man named Jimmy. 

Later, Marty shows Lee the burned man and tells him he was right about Donald being connected to the skinheads. Marty and Lee pull up to Arthur’s home, where they learn that he was shot dead. Frank’s truck pulls off in a rush, so they head after him. As Lee closes the gap on Frank, his van breaks down, and Frank gets away. After getting the van fixed, Lee and Marty arrive at the One Well Church. Lee barges his way into the church and pulls a gun on Frank.  

This was another episode that was better than the previous episodes. For some reason, the beginning just felt a little unorganized, but it wasn’t horrible, and it got better as the episode went on, so it wasn’t something that ruined the episode. Overall, this was a decent episode.
