Episode 8 begins with the robbery at the card game, with Sam telling Lance, Lonnie, Stacy and Radford to go and hide. She then follows them to the closet, Lonnie tells her how much he misses her, and that it was a mistake to fire her. She doesn’t go for it, and after some more conversation, and after they drop Radford off at a hospital for catching a stray bullet, everyone else goes to eat.

Lonnie, Stacy, and Lance all talk about their family drama, before Lance eventually storms off, Lonnie and Stacy have a quickie the bathroom and talk about Lance playing golf for Lonnie’s attention. After she leaves the bathroom, Lonnie follows suit and finds that Sam is missing. A man says that he’ll tell Lonnie where she went, only if he apologizes to his wife for his foul language. After some reluctance, he eventually apologizes sincerely, and is informed that Sam said to meet her at Deuces Wild at 2:00 p.m.

Lonnie heads over to the Deuces Wild, and has a talk with Sam’s father, where he asks why he is there. He then goes further and tells him he doesn’t trust him, since he fired his daughter, and tells him to get the fuck out. As Lonnie heads out, he changes his mind, and tells him he came there for Sam, and that he needs her.

Lance then goes to visit Crystal and tells her about the shit he’s currently in and tells her that he isn’t sure if he likes golf anymore. The two then go outside and have a discussion about their fathers, where Crystal reminds Lance of Lonnie’s quote “golf is a mental game” saying he has to beat Lonnie in a mental game. While Lonnie is talking to a couple in the Walmart parking lot, and looking for Lance’s old clubs, Sam appears, helps find them, and becomes his caddy once more.  

This episode was alright, it didn’t feel as good as the last one, but it was still ok, and it’s nice that Sam is back and going to be Lonnie’s caddy once more. That bathroom scene? Let’s just say, thank goodness nothing was shown, cause even though it wasn’t long, it was a little awkward. Lonnie saying something about squeezing his nuts was maybe a little funny, but only like a little smirk as again, the scene was kind of awkward.
