Episode 7 starts with Sam’s dad showing her the plan to rob a card game, and Lonnie getting to the TGL. He speaks with Dirk, and ultimately gets locked in the prize car, a 1957 Isetta. After eventually getting out, Lonnie and Lance prepare for the Simulator Golf.
The match doesn’t start so well for Lonnie, but he manages to come back and take the lead. Lance then tries to get in his zone, but he accidentally messes up his shot. After a compilation of Lonnie absolutely dominating Lonnie in the game and winning the 3 million, Lance storms off and has a talk with Jerry at the hotel room.
Lance says he may need to borrow some of his money again because he got himself into a bind with some people. Lonnie then comes in and has a talk with Lance, asking him what’s going on with him since he played like shit. Lance tries to remind him of the event Stacy told him about, and Lonnie tells him he never had Legos. Lance tries to show him the Lego minifigure, but Lonnie tells him it’s a Groot figure, which makes Lance realize that his mom lied. Lonnie then tells Lance that they need to go blow off some steam, since they are in Vegas.
They then go to the Amber Ox, have a talk with each other about playing without anger, and makeup for their fighting. The next morning, Lonnie goes to Lance’s hotel room and knocks on the door. Jerry answers it, who tells him Lance isn’t there, and he went to get twine. Lonnie barges in and sees the aftermath of a party. Jerry tells him that a bunch of guys and women came into the room, had a party, and Lance just vanished. Lonnie calls Stacy and tells her he can’t find Lance. She then heads to Vegas with Radford to help Lonnie look.
They all go to the CEO of the Sapphire Palm and look at security footage, where they see Lance getting into a fight, and getting in a taxi, while talking to a valet. Lonnie, Radford, and Stacy then talk to the valet, who tells them that he told Lance about a high-stakes game. After some threats the valet tells him it’s at the Desmond Hotel.
The three then storm into the room and try to get Lance. The head guy, Zev, pulls out a gun, and Lonnie offers to pay the debt, when two robbers suddenly come in. Lonnie immediately recognizes one of the voices as being none other than Sam.
This episode was again pretty decent. It had some funny moments like Lonnie’s hand getting slammed in the door of the car, and how they were talking about Jerry for some reason. Again, the episodes that are coming up later in the show overall feel like they are a little better than the earlier episodes, especially the first episode.
