Season 2, Episode 11, titled Who Else Knows?, directed by Alonso Ruizpalacios and written by Tom Bissell, continues with the Empire hunting Kleya, who sends a transmission to Cassian for help. Kleya now possesses critical knowledge of the Empire’s construction of a superweapon, and the Empire is determined to either capture or eliminate her to ensure her silence. Saving Kleya becomes one of Cassian’s final missions—an arc that sets the stage for the events involving Galen Erso and his daughter, Jyn Erso.
The central theme of this episode is secrets. Secrets are often guarded because the truth—whether of an object, event, or person—is deemed too dangerous for public knowledge. The Death Star is one such secret. Emperor Palpatine envisioned it as a symbol of fear, capable of annihilating entire worlds with a single blast. The idea was simple: compel submission from star systems through the threat of total destruction. Cultures, civilizations, entire peoples would be erased from existence as if they had never lived. Director Krennic was tasked with the Death Star’s construction and was furious that not only rebels like Kleya, but even Imperial officers like Dedra Meero, had learned of its existence. The project’s secrecy is paramount—for if the galaxy knew the Empire was building a weapon of genocide, outrage would drive countless systems to the Rebellion. The Death Star is not only immoral and cruel; it is evil incarnate.

Krennic Works with the ISB
On Coruscant, within ISB Headquarters, Dedra Meero (Denise Gough) is imprisoned in an interrogation chamber, where she is confronted by Director Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn). Krennic is livid, accusing Meero of overstepping her authority by illegally gathering intelligence far outside her jurisdiction. Through unauthorized investigations into the Ghorman Mining Schedules, Orbital Progress Assessments, Eadu Research Journals, and fragments of data linked to Project Stardust—the Death Star itself—Dedra pieced together classified details meant only for the highest levels of command. While Colonel Yularen and Major Partagaz were already privy to aspects of the project, they operated under strict compartmentalization. Meero, by contrast, acted unilaterally and recklessly, breaching protocols that kept the Death Star’s existence hidden even from many within the Empire’s own intelligence division.
The situation worsens when it’s revealed that the Rebellion has stolen Meero’s files, making them fully aware of the Empire’s most guarded project. If word spreads, systems within the Imperial Senate would defect en masse. Krennic condemns Meero’s obsession with capturing Luthen as the root cause of this disaster—had she focused solely on Ghorman’s mining operations, she might have remained a respected ISB supervisor. Instead, she is sentenced to lifelong imprisonment at an Imperial Prison Complex, similar to Narkina 5. Before her transfer, however, Dedra makes one last move: she advises Supervisor Heert (Jacob James Beswick) on how to locate and capture Kleya Marki before she can alert the Rebellion about the Death Star.
Later, Krennic convenes with Major Partagaz (Anton Lesser) and Supervisor Heert to plan Kleya’s capture. Partagaz orders Heert to hunt her down relentlessly, using any means necessary. It doesn’t matter whether Kleya has evidence of Project Stardust or not—her silence is essential. Heert, heeding Meero’s advice, leaves to begin the operation. After the meeting, Partagaz berates Krennic for the repeated delays in completing the Death Star, stating it’s a miracle the project’s secrecy has lasted this long without internal collapse or Senate suspicion. Krennic retaliates, declaring that the weapon will be finished within days and warning that the blame for Meero’s leak—and the exposure of Project Stardust—will fall squarely on Partagaz’s shoulders, stripping him of any remaining protection from the Emperor’s wrath.

Cassian Plans His Mission
On Yavin Four, Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) and Wilmon (Muhannad Bhaier) receive a transmission from Kleya Marki (Elizabeth Dulau), requesting a meeting in the apartment safehouse. Disobeying orders, Cassian takes K-2SO (Alan Tudyk) and Melshi (Duncan Pow) with him on a rogue mission to meet Kleya—much to the fury of General Draven (Alistair Petrie) and the rest of the Rebel leadership. Yavin Four has become the Rebellion’s primary base of operations, and Cassian’s unauthorized mission could risk exposing everything they’ve built. Still, Cassian remains loyal to Luthen and Kleya, whose efforts—however extreme—were instrumental in shaping the Rebellion.
Cassian and Melshi rendezvous with Kleya in the apartment. She is frantic and paranoid, a shadow of the calm and calculated spymaster she once was. Her report is dire: the Empire is constructing a devastating superweapon, but its exact purpose remains unclear. The loss of Luthen—her mentor, her surrogate father—has unmoored her. Cassian, shocked by the news of Luthen’s death, resolves to extract Kleya and bring her safely to Yavin Four. But Kleya refuses. The Rebellion hates her, just as they hated Luthen. Cassian counters, urging her to survive and witness the Rebellion they both helped forge—to see Luthen’s dream carried forward.
Later, Supervisor Heert arrives at the apartment complex with a squad of ISB troopers, intent on capturing Kleya and ensuring the Death Star remains a secret, buried in silence.
