Moving to the next addition, we get to see Ed Gein’s father, who is shown to be a drunken buffoon, who is swiftly thrown of the house by Augusta. After Augusta says she’ll put on some music, we see a “lady” dancing to a catchy tune. Interrupted by knocking, it’s revealed to be Ed wearing a dress and a womans face on his. The person reveals themselves to be the sheriff, and they question him about Mary when he answers the door. After Telling the cops he wasn’t there, and with nothing to go on, they head out. At the diner the next day, Adeleine runs into Ed, and tells him she felt bad leaving the way she did, and Ed says his mother was sorry about the way she acted, and she shows him newspaper images of a transexual before and after, intriguing him again and likely giving him new ideas.
Ed then goes to the cemetery, and digs up another body to get a ring from it, to try to give to Adeliene. After having wine at a restaurant, Ed takes Adeliene to the cemetery, and proposes to her, and she says yes. Adeliene brings Ed to a Mrs. Heller to babysit, to get him used to children, after telling her about being nervous about it (because of the teachings of Augusta). Ed winds up bringing the children to the house, to show them some magic tricks. After doing a trick involving a human finger, he then goes to show them his man-to-lady trick, with a heads off twist. Ed drops off the kids, and gets confronted, and he starts stalking the previous babysitter, Miss Evelyn, following her back to Mrs. Heller’s home. Ed winds up getting into the house, puts a bag over Evelyn’s head, and tells Adeleine he’s ready to be married the next day. Adeleine runs off with Ed, and when Ed goes to shoot some squirrels, she takes the opportunity to finally meet mother, who turns out to be Ed in the lady suit, before transitioning to a theatre audience watching some of the Psycho movie again, albeit with a better reception.

We then see Anthony Perkins with another one of his dates, telling him he’s been seeing a woman, and telling the therapist he felt relieved about it. At the theatre, we see Hitchcock talking about a new movie, to which an exec tells him it’s not what the people want right now, and that they should go more into the “sex horror” genre as people are calling it. Hitchcock and his assistant go to see another movie fitting that genre, and the people absolutely love it, showing what Alfred has unleashed. After that, we cut back to the past, where Ed has Evelyn held captive in his home. After consulting with mother, he brings her out and tries to have mother do the deed, once again, drawing on the parallels between a scene from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Like said in the previous review, they do touch on some of the other horror movies who were inspired by Ed Gein and his twisted nature. It’s a pretty unique approach drawing on the parallels between not only the movies and the scenes, but the symbolism involving Ed Gein’s killer secret, and Anthony Perkins homosexual romance secrets (between episodes two and three). Overall, pretty good episode.
