Episode 2 begins with Bender and Fry going to see Bender’s grandma at the retirement home. There, she tells Bender that she sold her tortilla business for a fortune, and that she was going to leave it to him, but she gave it all to her boyfriend Sebasttien. After Bender tells her it’s a scam, they leave and head back to Planet Express, where Leela gets the idea to make Bender look like an elder robot to try and figure out who the scammer is.

After suiting up, Bender gets a call on a jitter phone, where he gets a call from a lady named Daniella. After bragging to the Planet Express crew about her, and how she is going to offer him some stock in her catfish farm, everyone tells him it’s a scam, but he doesn’t buy it and says he is going to visit her in Scamton Mississippi.

There, he learns that the scammer is a robot that changes its appearance depending on who they’re talking to. Bender confronts the scammer, who reveals herself to be a fembot named Idabelle Sue. She reveals she can’t use her real face because she’s too hot to be believable. She then shows Bender the catfish farm that actually is real and says that her only crime was telling people it was a good investment. Bender then tries to help her out by calling Farnworth on his Jitter phone to fund it, and he agrees to go there to give a million dollars.

This is all part of a plan, which includes pretending the ship was impounded with the money inside. They will then call Bender and tell them they need a 1000 dollar impound fee, they give the fake cash and run. While driving however, they get pulled over by Burt Hooten and Fiddle, and have their ship impounded for real. At the bank, Farnsworth replaces the keypad with a scam keypad. This scam keypad has a decimal that is actually a tiny zero, meaning that when Bender and Idabelle type the thousand, they actually type one million.

After each party gets their money, they try to dance at the bar, but get arrested by Burt and Fiddle, who say dancing is illegal. After spending a night in jail, Bender is forced to give the sheriff the bag of money, and as the Planet Express crew head out, Burt realizes the money is counterfeit. After a high-speed chase, the crew explain to Bender that they scammed him and Idabelle, but Idabelle reveals that the money didn’t come from her. It actually came from Bender’s grandma.

Six months later, Bender’s grandma seemingly still has money despite the loss of cash, and when Bender asks about it, she tells him about her investment in the catfish farm. Bender calls Idabelle to confront her about scamming his grandma, but she reveals that the farm really has skyrocketed, since they ate all the cash that fell into the river during the chase, causing their breeding to go up. 

This episode was also good. It didn’t feel as great as the first episode did, but it was still funny, especially seeing the almost double karma between Bender and Idabelle (meaning Bender and Idabelle getting scammed, and Idabelle somehow having a better result than Bender). The way the Planet Express crew scammed the two of them was also pretty funny. Overall, a decent episode.
