This episode starts off at Kif and Amy’s place where they are having some dessert with Leela and Fry, and we get to meet some of Kif and Amy’s kids. Bender is sitting with the angsty teen when he uses his antenna to listen to something (like an am radio). When he changes the station, he tunes it to a radio station that is saying numbers, freaking him out. When he goes to tell everyone, they tell him it’s just a numbers station, but he still freaks out anyway. Bender explains to Leela and Fry that he doesn’t like numbers, and Fry goes to an art store to realize his dream of being an artist.

At the planet express, Farnsworth complains about the agony of physical existing, and Hermes lacking care, turns on the lottery drawing, and the numbers called are the same numbers that played on Bender’s antennae. Fry reveals his art, which is done using paint by numbers, and when looking at the art, Amy realizes that the numbers from Bender’s antennae are actually paint by number plans for a device.

Bender goes to see Danica McKellar, and tells her about his fear of numbers, and asks if she can help. Back at Planet Express, Hermes tells Fry he got a letter from City Wide Art Contest, saying his work was accepted (because Zoidberg entered him into the contest). Amy reveals the device, that turns out to be a portal to a dimension full of living number beings, much to Farnsworth’s delight, who decides to stay in the dimension, due to the abstractness of it. Farnsworth angers the numbers when he talks about concepts of math and other things, and he gets divided by zero. He gets transported to an empty world, where he runs into Georg Cantor, a famous mathematician, who sent the number message.

Professor Farnsworth, using the device Cantor made, sends out a morse code message for help, which Bender receives, and accidentally winds up going into the dimension to help. At the art contest, Fry winds up coming in second place, but it turns out that the contest was for animal painters, which Fry is still happy about. Bender runs into Farnsworth and Cantor in the Numberland, and are put on trial to prove there are missing numbers, which Cantor proves, but number 1 still sends Googol at them. Bender faces his fears and defeats Googol, Cantor creates a new abstract dimension to stay in, while Bender and Farnsworth leave. At the end, Fry erases the Numberland plan, and leaves it blank with the numbers, just for Professor Farnsworth.

This episode was another funny addition. While the previous one was a little better, it was still a worthwhile watch, and had its fair share of moments that would make you want to re-watch it later.
