The final episode of the season sees Kingpin in the hot seat. This one might actually be one of the best episodes of the season. It had the tension, the action, and an almost fulfilled resolution. Coincidently, the ending was a bit surprising and would make you question why a little bit. It also felt like it left off on a bit of a cliffhanger, perfectly setting up a the third season, which is currently in production.
Overall, this season was still pretty good when compared to the first season. Certain scenes of the first season felt like they went on a bit long, while this season feel like each episode was just the right length. The episodes sometimes started off slow, picking up a bit as they went on, and had pretty decent action in them. One thing that hasn’t been resolved is the absence of Frank Castle aka The Punisher, who appeared in the first season. The last we saw him, he had escaped Fisk’s prison. Other than referenced by name, we don’t know what he’s up to. However, his upcoming special presentation set to premiere next week may answer those questions. He’s also appearing in the next Spider Man movie set to release this July. Maybe the next season will feature this character, and they will help Daredevil continue his fight against evil, but it’s entirely possible that he won’t.
It will be interesting how Daredevil and his archenemies will continue in the next season, or if another adversary will rise. Some viewers chattered about wanting a different enemy as the Kingpin story may have grown stale, but we will have to wait and see.

Overall, this episode was the best of the season with a great cliffhanger leaving room for the next chapter. The show as a whole was as good as the first season, and brings excitement for what the future may hold. Hopefully the future is great, and the third season will be just as good as the second season.
