Previously, on the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) reunited with Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal), also known as the Punisher. After having another counselling session with Heather Green (Margarita Levieva), Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) and Vanessa (Ayelet Zurer) discuss why she trusts Fisk won’t do anything to hurt her. Fisk assures her that he’s a changed man, but we see him go to his dungeon, and we learn that he has kidnapped Vanessa’s lover, Adam, locking him in a cell. 

The next episode starts with Matt meeting Yusuf Khan (Mohan Kapoor), an assistant banking manager who is also Ms. Marvel’s father. It’s St. Patrick’s Day, so everyone is celebrating around the city. Matt is at the bank for his accounts with his law firm. 

Next, we see a group of criminals preparing to rob a bank. It’s the same bank that Matt was just in. They head inside, armed and masked up, and get violent with innocent individuals. Yusuf quickly hides inside an office and tries to make a call, but the robbers have cut the phone line. One of the robbers finds him and drags him out of the room and into the lobby, where everyone else is. 

Matt is walking outside the bank. While on the phone with Kristen, he hears a commotion coming from the bank, so he tells Kristen to call the police and rushes over there. 

The masked men look for the bank manager, but Mr. Khan informs them he is absent. As the assistant bank manager, Yusuf must take them to the bank’s vault. The robbers go into an office to talk, and while they’re talking, Matt quietly asks Yusuf where the bank’s vault is. When he tells him that it’s four floors down, Matt tells him to stall the robber when they go down there. 

The leader of the group lets two hostages out of the bank. Matt tells the robbers that he needs to go to the bathroom, so one of them takes him. 

Yusuf goes to the vault with one of the robbers, and he does exactly what Matt tells him to do: stall. Matt can hear while he’s walking to the bathroom. As he and the robber reach the stairs, he attacks the robber with his tie. 

Before the robber shoots Yusuf as he finds out he doesn’t know the combination to the vault, Matt knocks him out from behind. Matt uses his hearing to find the combination. Yusuf is shocked when he opens it. 

Yusuf tries opening some of the safes to find what the robbers were looking for. After trying a few, he successfully opens one of them and they find a jewelry bag that has a stone inside. After finding it, they go back upstairs.

The police prepare to go inside the bank. Matt shows the robbers that he has the diamond. As he tosses it to them, the cops come rushing inside. As the commotion happens inside, Matt hears the ringleader telling one of the hostages, who is working with them, to give the stone to someone. As she exits the bank, she looks to see the stone and finds a hard candy instead. 

The next day or so, Matt goes back to the bank to check in with Yusuf. The two of them make arrangements for Matt to meet his family, and Yusuf plans to discuss making the firm more profitable. Matt leaves, and Yusuf looks inside his candy bowl and finds the stone hidden inside it. 

Overall, this was a decent episode. There wasn’t much action, but the newly formed relationship between Matt and Yusuf made up for it. Will we see Yusuf in the next episode? What is the true importance of the stone?
