The story of the critically acclaimed series Yellowstone has been expanding with every season. With the finale rapidly approaching, viewers are looking towards the cast and creators for any hints of what the conclusion will bring to the screens. According to comicbook.com, Kelly Reilly (Eden Lake, True Detective) recently stated in an interview that fans are in for a highly anticipated treat.
In an interview with Radio Times, Reilly was asked about how she was feeling about the finale and if she was looking forward to seeing audiences’ reactions to how the ending and final episodes will be received.
“Gosh, I’m really looking forward to them [the fans] having them [the last episodes],” the actress stated, “we can only shoot this show in the summer because when winter comes in Montana from November through till May, it’s snowing – and shooting this show in the snow with horses, it’s just not possible. So we have one window and last year we lost it because of the actors’ strike. So I’m looking forward to them having the show back. I look forward to giving them their show back and look forward to ending it.”
The actress also addressed the rumors that there would be any spin-off series that is based on the Western TV series. She told Radio Times that she was focused on the main show and the main show only and that it had her full attention. “I just care about finishing [the show] with as much care and as much passion and as much love as I can muster to put into it,” Reilly began. “That’s what I care about. I’m sort of prepping for that now, that’s my tunnel vision thing that I care about most.”
She then went on to directly talk about how she does not have a concrete answer if there will be any spin-offs. “And what goes on beyond that? There are discussions, you know,” she said, “don’t believe everything you read. It’s just nonsense. But we’re gonna, you know, let’s wait and see. I don’t have an answer right now. But we’ll see.”
The first five seasons of Yellowstone are currently streaming on Peacock and will conclude on November 2nd with the season and series finale
