According to TVLine, Wynonna Earp: Vengeance has set premiere date for the reunion special. The special will run for 90 minutes and will premiere on Tubi on September 13.
Wynonna Earp: Vengeance was created by Emily Andras (Lost Girl, Instant Star) and directed by Paolo Barzman (La Garconne, X Company), who also worked on the original series Wynonna Earp, which aired on Syfy in 2016.
Many stars of the original series will be returning including Melanie Scrofano (Ready or Not, The Ready Room) as Wynonna, Tim Rozon (Purgatory Jack, Calamity Jane) as Doc Holliday, Dominique Provost-Chalkley (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Like a House on Fire) as Waverly Earp, Katherine Barrell (Good Witch, Star Trek: Discovery) as Nicole Haught and many others.
As Per TVLine, the series is described as “the titular hard-living, demon-slaying anti-heroine (and great-great-granddaughter of legendary lawman Wyatt Earp) must return, once again, to her hometown in order to battle her greatest foe yet: a psychotic villainess hellbent on revenge against Wynonna… and everyone she loves.”
According to TVLine, since the original series ended, Andras told Vanity Fair, “Doc and Wynonna have been on an adventure, and Waverly and Nicole have been at home in Purgatory, doing their thing,” “I think it’s going to be really interesting to see, hopefully, what gets everybody home — maybe facing a challenge they’ve never faced before, something pretty intense.”
Andras also told TVLine, during the season finale, “There are a million different reasons to bring Wynonna back, to help out her sister.”
Andras executive produced Wynonna Earp: Vengeance with Jordy Randall (Heartland, Billy the Kid), Tom Cox (House of the Dragon, My Lady Jane), Peter Emerson (Reginald the Vampire, Sinking Cities), Brett Burlock (Coroner, Pure), Todd Berger (Cover Versions, The Happytime Murders) and Rick Jacobs (Dark City: The Cleaner, The Royal Treatment).
New fans of the series can catch up on the original streaming on Netflix.
