Jared Padalecki (Walker), who had portray Sam Winchester on the acclaimed CW series, Supernatural, has rekindled hope for the show’s return.with the cancellation of Walker. According to Screenrant, Jared made an appearance on Tommy DiDario’s I’ve Never Said This Before podcast which has been posted on X, and was joined by his wife , Genevieve Padalecki (Wildfire), giving updates regarding the idea of the reboot. He restates on Jensen Ackles’s (The Boys) commitment about a potential return.
“I will say this. I don’t want to do another 15 years of Supernatural. I don’t want to do another 5 years of Supernatural , I am dying to do a reboot of Supernatural . Akin to the Gilmore Girls reboot. Here are four one-and-a-half-hour episodes. We’ll shoot it in three months. I think Jensen [Ackles] and I both said in 2020, ‘We’d love to revisit these characters, this world. Give us five years.’ Which is next year. And I see him often. And we talk often. I think he and I are both really eager to do it. I’m certain I’ll put the flannel on again and play Sam Winchester.”
According to Screenrant, with Jared and Jensen excitement of the reboot, fans have stated the show will best in the hand in previous installment show runner,Eric Kripke (Timeless) . It was stated “With any luck, Supernatural’s long-anticipated return may be just around the corner and may even see the show’s original creator return to steer it.”
