Syfy is hoping to add a weekly talk show, Nerdist News, to its’ mix.

Chris Hardwick is teaming up with NBCUniversal-owned cable company to develop a plan for this talk show.

Hardwick (Talking Dead and @midnight) will be executive producer on this project alongside one of his partners, Brandon Monk. Nerdist News will run weekly for a half hour on Syfy.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a host has not been determined as of yet.

Syfy is currently trying to bring back sic-fi to their network due to recent trends in fantasy, sic-fi, media, science and more.

If all goes well for the Nerdist News pilot, Hardwick would successfully have series on three different cable networks. These networks include Comedy Central’s @midnight as well as AMC’s Walking Dead post-show talker Talking Dead.
