Warner Bros Discovery has shared important news for fans of the Scooby-Doo franchise. Shaggy and his four-legged pal will fly to Japan in the anime series Go-Go Mystery Machine!, Comicbook.com reports. The company has recently shown an interest in creating more projects based on Japanese anime. An example is the upcoming series of The Suicide Squad Isekai. The Scooby-Doo anime series was announced at this year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
The Scooby-Doo franchise is one of the longest-running cartoons of our decade. According to Comicbook.com, the first series, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, hit the small screen in 1969. Since then, the mystery gang has had various movies and series, including spinoff named Velma, which has two seasons and is currently available to stream on Max.
Fans have always seen a running gag in each show or movie of the franchise: Scooby-Doo and Shaggy separating themselves from the Mystery Machine crew to comically end up finding clues for the mystery with the help of recurring characters. According to Comicbook.com, this seems to be the case in the new anime series.

According to Comicbook.com, alongside the announcement of Scooby-Doo anime in the works, Warner Bros Discovery also has famous franchises like Adventure Time, Regular Show and Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends coming back in the form of movies or series. The new WB projects are Bad Karma and Lovey Dovey.
