Vivica A. Fox (Independence Day, 1-800-Missing) is set to make a guest appearance on Poppa’s House in an episode scheduled to air in April 2025, as exclusively revealed by TVLine.
Fox will play the bold and no-nonsense Judge Say Wha?!, a character described by CBS as “a savvy force of nature.” Known for her signature catchphrase, “Say Wha?!,” which her courtroom audience enthusiastically echoes, she commands respect and authority in her court. Junior, played by Damon Wayans Jr. (Shrinking, The Other Guys), quickly learns that crossing her is not an option. However, Judge Say Wha?! takes an immediate liking to Poppa, clearly impressed by his charm, poise and confidence—a fact that leaves Junior both irritated and bewildered.
Vivica A. Fox is no stranger to the spotlight, with an extensive television resume that includes memorable roles on Empire, Mr. Box Office, Curb Your Enthusiasm, 1-800-Missing and Generations. Additionally, she’s widely recognized for her recurring role as Skye in the popular Sharknado film series.
The CBS sitcom Poppa’s House centers on Poppa, played by Damon Wayans (My Wife and Kids). Poppa is a witty and confident radio host enjoying life after divorce. Despite his easygoing nature, Poppa faces plenty of challenges, both professionally and personally. At work, he must hold his own against his outspoken new co-host Ivy, played by Essence Atkins (First Wives Club). While at home, Poppa continues to navigate his ever-evolving relationship with his adult son, Junior.
Adding to the family chaos, Marlon Wayans (White Chicks, Little Man) is also set to guest star in a February 2025 episode as Poppa’s unpredictable brother, Melvin. Described as a smooth-talking schemer with a new business pitch in hand, Melvin’s arrival stirs up mixed emotions. While Poppa warns everyone to keep their guard up, Ivy and Junior remain cautiously optimistic that Melvin might have genuinely turned over a new leaf.
With its mix of humor, heartfelt family dynamics and star-powered guest appearances, Poppa’s House promises plenty of laughs and entertaining moments ahead.
